I haven’t been around lately and for that I apologise. My exams are over so I will be here to post more often.

Infact I think I may even do a post on the new game I got.

On Friday I am flying away to Menorca for two weeks, when I return expect a FULL UPDATE!

Yeah… so I missed a couple of days of updates. My bad! It has been a couple of hectic days! Friday night was my Leavers Ball, it was a great night. I will have to get some photos up sometime soon. After not getting very much sleep on the Friday night I had to go to work on the Saturday . I did not return till 1:30 am. Then I had to go to work on the Sunday at 10am!

Now I have to revise.

Today is my last day as a student ever. (Well at least until University in September). I don’t know how I feel about leaving, my sixth form has always been a safety net for me, it was there when I needed to retake my GCSEs after I flunked them, it accepted me in after I fixed the grades, and it even got me an A in Business and an A in History. But now I will be leaving that all behind and will venture out into the world on my own. It’s quite exciting.

Anyway the Leavers Ball is tonight, if you’re lucky I will post up some pictures

This week is the last week that I will be a student at my Sixth Form, many people are upset because of this… to be honest I can’t wait to get out of that place. Don’t get me wrong, I will miss my friends and seeing them every day but I have been there for three freaking years! That’s one more year than everyone else there! (That is my own fault since I pissed around and failed my GCSEs… so I had to retake but that is not the point!).

I wish life was more like a sitcom, there are groups of people at my Sixth Form who are absolute idiots and just bring the whole culture of the place down. This isn’t the case in sitcoms, life is always fun. The downside of my life is approaching, exams.

I created this category to talk about the games I play, this isn’t gaming news because i’m not very good at finding that kind of stuff. If you are interested in gaming news then you should check out VIPOR’s blog on my blog roll, he knows things others don’t!

Eurovision.

Last night was the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, for those who don’t know, this is a competition between countries in the European Union. They each submit one song and the other countries vote for which one is their favourite. Previously this competition has pretty much been political, the countries would vote for their neighbouring countries blah blah blah. But now the public votes, obviously they can’t vote for their own country.
Instead of coming last we came 5th, which isn’t too bad. Norway won, they sucked badly, but so did we so oh well.

Note to self: Never watch the Eurovision Song Contest again.

Shoe Shopping.

Yesterday (Saturday) I went shoe shopping with my girlfriend. It is the end of year Ball next Friday so she needed shoes to go with her dress, and apparently my opinion matters so I tagged along.
There was a queue of traffic waiting to get into the shopping centre car park so we had to wait. We got closer and were surrounded by people who seemed to think it was hardcore to beat their horns and shout out the window at people, these people knew each other and were Indians. Now I’m not racist and I don’t follow stereotypes usually but these kind of people make it really hard to not.

Anyway back to the shopping trip. It started well, she tried on many shoes but couldn’t seem to find the ones that were perfect for her. So we went to more stores but still had no joy. That’s when I spotted it, a booth selling Candy floss! The child inside me took over and I ran over to buy a bag, it was delicious. That was probably the highlight of the trip!

I love candy floss.

My exam went well, thanks for asking.

After hours of pretending to revise this morning it came to the hour of the exam, Social Psychology and Research Methods. Even the title sounds dull doesn’t it? So at 1:15pm we were all ushered into the exam hall and the boring man thought he would read the instructions on front of the exam paper. Why? Did he need to? No. But he did, so that was 15 minutes of anxious waiting by everyone in the exam hall.

My mind wandered whilst I was writing about Milgram’s (1969) study of obedience. I first thought about the fact I had to go shoe shopping with my girlfriend the next day, then it drifted to the scrubs scene about shoe shopping.. then it drifted back to the exam and my next point.

I hate exams.

I created this section to talk about whatever is on the front page of the newspaper…but since YET AGAIN it is Jordan and Peter then I thought I would skip a few pages and go to something that I think is more important.

This is exactly the reason why some people should not have pets.

This picture was taken at Hove, East Sussex. I don’t know if this man thinks it is some kind of game to throw your dog into the sea by its legs? According to the paper he did this with another dog as well.

Being a dog owner myself I prefer to throw sticks.

Anyway, to be socially responsible I should give you guys the number incase anyone witnessed this.
But at the moment I have no readers so I guess I wont!
